Primrose Hill is on the north side of Regent’s Park and offers a panoramic view of London. The views from the summit to St Paul’s Cathedral and the Palace of Westminster are two of the thirteen protected views in London. On a clear day many go up to enjoy the sights, picnic or drink, take selfies and the usual that goes on at a scenic spot. As a hill, it’s also used as an exercise spot, and some just run up and turn around and head right back down. The summit edging rock is inscribed with a William Blake quote and the cardinal directions.
