still that betweenish feel and almost start one of the somanynewthings on the List but in the cleaning up clearing out had come across the stack of no which maybe time to get back to that progress a bit at least instead of starting another loose end and so still not sure where it’s headed but the start from the loyalty questions on the registration questionnaire given to the Japanese and Japanese American adults in the WWII internment camps. Questions number 27 and 28 came to be known as the loyalty questions.

27: Are you willing to serve in the armed forces of the United States on combat duty, wherever ordered?

pull out the numbers, the familiar motions of fitting them together, filling in the space. ink, something in the brown family hmn how about that culinarian again but not full strength gosh this transparent base the oil one got used up I guess this now is more like butter still doesn’t take much color and whoa really goes to the red undertone not really brown at all now not sure if that quite works oops have one 72 fix that and that subtle but not too and ok going to try the varnish no epiphanies but another layer another step of how many far from done

as we’re wrapping up Pauline asks if I had a productive evening, I’m not quite sure how to answer.
