as THEY say, one thing leads to another… and the bourbon and ice cream thing was seeming like a good one, thing that is, so why not try David’s original variation, Bourbon and Spiced Pecan?! As he says, “I may not fit the profile of a bourbon drinker, but I do like (and sometimes need) a good shot of whisky every now and then… even in my ice cream!” He likes Jack Daniels, I went with Bulleit. Yum! PS the flavors are great, but the contrast between the ice cream, which is softer than usual due to the alcohol and the crunchy nuts is a little more than I really enjoy.
