Although the Petaluma Arts Center has been open since 2008, I only recently visited it. The Center is located in one of the historic depot buildings, next door to the Petaluma Visitors’ Center. They have a nice exhibit space, which was put to most excellent use for the Degas show this summer. The Center also hosts events and holds classes, and promotes art in the community. In addition to the inside space there is some neat art work installed outside the building.
