is it still ice cream if there isn’t actually any cream in it?
I recently made non-dairy versions of the originally Peanut Butter Ice Cream from The Perfect Scoop. In one I used Almond Butter for the spread and Almond Milk for the half-and-half. Was a little more icey than creamy. Frozen dessert? The other I stuck with Peanut Butter (haha) and then used Coconut Milk for the half-and-half. And added a Fudge Ripple for good measure. That was pretty successful. Might have to try some other spreads with the Coconut Milk.
