which, depending on the emPHAsis, can be quite different questions


WHAT were you thinking?
what WERE you thinking?
what were YOU thinking?
what were you THINKING?


and then of course there’s the tone of voice, perhaps a type face could signify. or color of ink or how it’s placed or maybe it is just a neutral request for information but somehow it never seems to be there’s some charge implication accusation even the present tense seems somehow intrusive but I suppose it’s not a bad thing to consider once in a while what is going on in there what thoughts are being thunk by the thin king

and this time third time’s the charm as they say I actually do get some metal in there but then there’s some new wood type in the shop and it’s BIG but I can’t resist can’t what what what
