Lately I’ve been putting a dash of cinnamon (and sometimes ginger) in my coffee, which occurred to me might be a good ice cream flavor. Or maybe it was the other way around. Anyway, then I still have tasty homegrown oranges, and that goes with cinnamon and coffee, right? so I zested a couple of them in there too. I haven’t quite figured out if it works. I could taste the cinnamon when I first made the base but then not so much after it was frozen. Interesting how flavors combine, sometimes not quite you think they will.
