Not sure if it was the candy part or more likely that it was a mix-in to ice cream but this recipe caught my eye. And I made it. Although I then realized I’ve never had this sorta thing before so I’m not sure if it came out like it’s supposed to. It certainly did fluff up when I put the baking soda it. I keep trying little bits cause I can’t quite make up my mind about it. It doesn’t seem particularly maple-y, but I was thinking of trying it with honey or molasses so maybe in comparison it would be. I used some Kona sea salt, which might be a little strong too. I’ll have to see how it is in some ice cream!
