I’d planned some things, and then, the beauty of a road trip, things just happen. I’d stopped at a rest stop along the Columbia River to enjoy the view and use the facilities. As I was walking around a couple’s dog came up to say ‘hi’ and so I got to chatting with them as well. Turns out they were windsurfers, which is a big thing to do in the Gorge, and also travelling for his work as a photographer. Bill uses large format cameras and, so far anyway, is still able to get film and paper. He gave me this beautiful print as his card.
