What does one do with a man who comes to visit and brings an apple pie?!
Then (hard to believe, I know) we didn’t eat it all, and (perhaps even more difficult to believe, I didn’t have ice cream to have pie a la mode! What, not buying it? Well OK, you’re right, I did have ice cream, just not any flavor that seemed like it would work with apple pie.) So there I was with apple pie, and thwarted a la mode… hmn.
What would YOU do?
Apple Pie Ice Cream!

Of course.
Vanilla base, with dashes of cinnamon and ginger and a bit of freshly ground nutmeg. Then mixed in frozen pie chunks. Quite tasty, if I do say so myself.
