I didn’t traverse the entire Oregon coastline, but one of the things that stood out for the part that I did travel was the bridges. Well of course there’s the natural grandeur and beauty, and the various roadside attractions. Then there are the lighthouses and bridges. Signature pieces. I was going to say we don’t really have them in California, but it’s probably not quite true. Maybe they just don’t get the same promotion or I was noticing them more since I was on vacation in Oregon. Or maybe it’s a density thing, you encounter more in a shorter time so they become more memorable somehow.

Well the bridges at least were more noticeable, since you drive over them. Have to remember to pay attention to the driving part of it, since they’re so cool to look at. I just think it’s so neat to have functional objects also be aesthetically attractive.
