Another fond childhood food memory of Hawaii. Not exactly sure why. Except for the notable name, which is great fun to say, but I have no idea where it came from, they are pretty much just crackers. Perhaps the “pancake of crackers,” as my nephew called them, but, as he also pointed out, pretty bland. So it’s almost more about what you put on them – butter and guava jelly!
