Cinnamon Ice Cream

For this recipe you warm the milk, sugar and some of the cream with cinnamon sticks and then let them steep to infuse the cinnamon flavor to the ice cream base. I wasn’t sure if it was really going to be cinnamon-y enough, and was thinking about adding some ground cinnamon, but decided to try the recipe as is. It was very nice, spicy without being overpowering, and went really well with the Chocolate Apple Cake. I can also imagine it being good with Pumpkin Pie or Apple Crisp as the recipe suggests.
